We have always loved the 16700 for its thinner case that sits so well on the wrist and it was, interestingly, the last of the GMT-Masters before the GMT-Master 2 with independent 24-hour hand was launched (although both were available at the same time for a while).
The drilled-lug-hole case is in superb condition with thick and even lugs and crown guards and the pepsi insert has no big defects and is lovely faded !This example has a rarer so-called Swiss Only dial, denoting the use of luminova on the hour markers and hands. The dial is in outstanding condition. The solid link Oyster bracelet, reference 78790, with clasp stamped ‘x6 ’ and end links 501 b , remains in really great condition. The watch comes with its punched guarantee paper stating a sale in 1999 , Belgium - inner box , two booklets , a translation leaflet a pas holder and a 1999 -2000 calendar card. This cool every day wearer is fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
We always have a good selection of Rolex neo -vintage in stock so get in touch and we will help you find your dream example!
